We're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Surgical Technologist to join our top-notch surgical team. Responsibilities: Assists with patient transfer/transportation. Inventories, orders, and restocks supplies. Assists in maintenance, care, and cleanliness of surgical supplies, equipment, and surgical suite. Maintains an adequate inventory of patient and unit supplies and stores these appropriately. Exchanges information about patient care issues or unit operations with Registered Nurse, Nursing Assistant, Nurse Manager, and ancillary departments. Assists in executing efficient turnover time between procedures. Charges for supplies and equipment. Demonstrates responsibility for cost containment and conservation of supplies and equipment. Schedule: Monday-Friday, either 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts. 6:30AM-5PM, 8:30AM-7PM, 6:30AM-3PM, 8:30AM-5PM, 10:30AM-7PM. Must also be available for off shifts/on-call shifts. May be subject to work different days/shifts based on hospital needs. High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Previous Operating Room Technician experience preferred. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: Completion of Operating Room Technician course. BLS certification or achievement within thirty (30) days of employment required.
