Certified Teacher Location: MITT ALC UFCW Campus Days/Hours: Monday and Wednesday from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm (0.125 FTE) MITT is hiring a Certified Teacher for the Integrated ELA 20F/Keyboarding 25S/Print Communications 25S courses. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Teaching the curriculum prescribed or approved by the minister. * Providing an effective classroom learning environment. * Maintaining order and discipline among pupils attending or participating in activities that are sponsored or approved by the school, whether inside or outside the school. * Advising pupils as to what is expected of them in school, reviewing their assessments with them, and evaluating their progress and reporting on that progress. * Administering and marking any assessment of pupil performance that the minister may direct, in the manner that the minister directs. * Ongoing professional development. Required Qualifications and Experience: * Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate. * Previous Grade 11/12 English teaching experience. Preferred Qualifications and Experience: * Experience teaching in a blended learning environment. * Experience with Brightspace Learning Management System. * Experience teaching in an adult setting. Salary is in accordance with the Collective Agreement. An eligibility list may be created for similar positions. Responsibilities
