We buy, services & sell everything from entry level trailers to large fifth wheels and park models, providing a fun and adventurous lifestyle that appeals to a broad range of people.
Showcase RV opened its doors in the great northern city of Sudbury, ON near the beautiful Lake Nipissing. Showcase RV & Powersports, located in Mount Pleasant, is the 3rd location of this fast growing dealership and looking to hire an experienced and Certified RV Technician to join our growing team.

QUALIFICATIONS & RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

We’re looking for a team player that is motivated, well rounded, knowledgeable, and experienced in a variety of skill sets.

  • Must have an RV1 or RV2 Certification.
  • Must have 1 - 5 years’ experience in the RV repair field, including renovations, handyman etc.
  • Mechanical, electrical and electronics aptitude; troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong communication, organizational and learning skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of RV technical knowledge is an asset.
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs.
Responsibilities
  • Performing pre-delivery inspections.
  • Installation of accessories, perform troubleshooting, and accurately read and complete repair orders.
  • Service, repair, and maintain propane gas and electric appliances including furnaces, refrigerators, water heaters, ranges, and air conditioners.
  • Perform repairs on fiberglass, body panels, and structural components.
  • Install, repair, replace, and maintain roofs, siding, windows, doors, vents, awnings, floor coverings, cabinets, counters, plumbing systems, electrical systems, propane gas systems, batteries, and charging systems.
  • May be required to install fifth wheel hitches, wire tow vehicles and perform maintenance and repairs on trailer frames, undercarriage and suspension.
  • Utilize testing equipment, troubleshooting techniques, manufacturer specifications, and online resources to diagnose and repair faults.
  • Use computerized and electronic devices for testing components.
  • Communicate with supervisor to ensure timely, efficient and economical repairs.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and Health & Safety regulations; participate in required training both on-site and off-site.
  • Interact professionally with customers to address questions, concerns, and service needs.
  • Showing trailers to customers.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
  • May be required to move or assist in moving units.
