Position Brief: Caseload focuses on academic support in reading, writing, and math. Implement and monitor IEPs aligned with student goals and district standards. Provide additional instruction in social skills, emotional/behavioral regulation, and executive functioning. Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to create inclusive learning environments. Requirements Qualified candidates should have experience working in special education or a closely related instructional role, with the ability to support students with diverse learning needs and disabilities. Applicants must hold a valid Virginia teaching license with an endorsement in Special Education or be eligible to obtain one. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required, and a master’s degree in Special Education or a related field is strongly preferred. Candidates should demonstrate a solid understanding of individualized instruction, collaboration, and evidence-based practices that support student growth.
