QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certified Weld Inspector (AWS CWI) – mandatory.
• Knowledge of AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX, API standards.
• Experience in welding inspection in manufacturing, construction, or fabrication.
• Strong problem-solving & documentation skills.
• Proficient with inspection tools & equipment.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We’re seeking a Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) to ensure welding processes and finished welds meet strict quality standards (AWS, ASME, API). This position is part of our Quality Department and involves inspection, documentation, compliance checks, and technical support to the production team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct visual & dimensional inspections of welds.
• Verify procedures comply with AWS, ASME, API standards.
• Perform & review destructive and NDT testing.
• Review weld maps, procedures, and documentation for compliance.
• Provide technical guidance to welders & production staff.
• Identify non-conformances and oversee corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection records for audits.
• Ensure safety & environmental compliance.
