Description The Technician / Certifying Inspector is a key partner in supporting the day-to-day business and quality compliance at the repair station, ensuring maintenance processes are performed efficiently and properly in accordance with approved company policies, OEM instructions, and EASA Part 145 requirements. Key Responsibilities Inspection, Maintenance & Repair Collaborate, Courage, Customer Focus, Drive Results Inspect, repair, and return to service aviation components in accordance with relevant OEM technical publications, the company MOE, and EASA Part 145 Regulations. Perform maintenance tasks to the standards specified in OEM data and company procedures. Support OEMs in the assembly of new components. Perform physical final inspection of components. Certification and Compliance Courage, Customer Focus, Drive Results Issue Authorised Release to Service documentation for maintained components. Understand and comply with customer-specific requirements and ensure work is aligned to those expectations. Actively promote “Zero Harm” safety principles and participate in workplace safety management systems. Support quality compliance processes and continuous improvement initiatives Team Support and Development Collaborate, Customer Focus, Courage Support management in training and developing production teams. Provide guidance to junior technicians when required. Flexibly undertake additional tasks as assigned by leadership. The Small Print This is a hands-on, fixed-term operational role requiring attention to detail, technical expertise, and a high degree of physical fitness. You will work within a safety- and compliance-critical environment where precision, traceability, and adherence to procedures are non-negotiable. You are expected to work flexibly, sometimes across shifts or weekends, and respond promptly to operational priorities. While the role is focused on inspection and certification, you will also actively support team development and crossfunctional collaboration. Requirements Skills and Experience Solid knowledge of EASA Part 145 regulations. Previous Certification Authorisation for Release to Service activities to a Category C level. Technical knowledge to undertake maintenance functions, including sheet metal work. Experience reading OEM maintenance data and technical publications. Proficient computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel). Physically capable of lifting, pulling, and pushing over 65 lbs. Attention to detail and quality systems exposure. Competent with hand tools, machinery, and equipment. Excellent interpersonal and technical communication skills. Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable. Languages Required: English Desirable: Any other language
