Job Title Certifying Plumber/Gasfitter Job Description Summary Certifying Plumber/Gasfitter based at the University of Auckland Accommodation contract. Planned/Reactive Maintenance and small project work within a deticated site based team. Job Description Overview of Business Unit The Plumbing team supports the University Accommodation Business Unit by delivering reactive, planned and small-project maintenance services across student accommodation and selected university buildings. Work is carried out within a small team environment with a varied and busy portfolio. Job Purpose Complete plumbing maintenance and project tasks within university accommodation and associated buildings as required. Key Accountabilities Complete plumbing tasks as required Identify opportunities for follow-up or additional work and escalate to client and/or manager Complete relevant documentation for invoicing and compliance Adhere to HSSEQ policies, procedures and legislative requirements Any other duties as required by your manager Key Measures of Performance All works completed within required timeframes and to required standard Logon and logoff KPI achievement Completed works accurately recorded and sent to admin team within stipulated timeframes Future work identified and escalated to client and/or manager Internal and external customer satisfaction Position Dimensions Ensuring maintenance tasks support the business unit’s operational, compliance, revenue and margin targets Key Interactions Internal Plumbing Supervisor Operations Manager Accommodation Site Teams Allocator / Administrator HSSEQ Team External Suppliers Contractors and Subcontractors University accommodation and property representatives (as required) BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE Trade qualified, ideally with 5+ years’ experience in commercial, residential, or accommodation maintenance environments. Certified Plumber and licensed Gasfitter.
