Established in 1951, IOM is a Related Organization of the United Nations, and as the leading UN agency in the field of migration, works closely with governmental, intergovernmental and non-governmental partners. IOM is dedicated to promoting humane and orderly migration for the benefit of all. It does so by providing services and advice to governments and migrants. As part of the Nexus & Solutions program, IOM Cameroon implements strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening the links between humanitarian action, development and peace. To provide a practical learning environment for students and/or recent graduates while enhancing its operational capacities, the Nexus & Solutions unit is seeking an intern to work in-person with the team in Yaoundé.

Responsibilities

The intern will provide programmatic and administrative support to the Nexus & Solutions Unit. Key tasks include assisting with project implementation, coordination, partnerships, and general administrative duties.
