Established in 1951, IOM is a Related Organization of the United Nations, and as the leading UN agency in the field of migration, works closely with governmental, intergovernmental and non-governmental partners. IOM is dedicated to promoting humane and orderly migration for the benefit of all. It does so by providing services and advice to governments and migrants. In order to providing quality services to IOM’ targets on the one hand and offer a hands-on learning environment to some students and/or recent graduates to work on tasks and projects related to their area of study or career interests in other hand, the Information Communication and Technology Unit within IOM is seeking an in-person intern work closely with the ICT team in Cameroon mission.
Responsibilities
The intern will provide programmatic and administrative support for policy development, capacity building, and political engagement. They will work closely with the ICT team and the Senior Project Officer – Policy in the Cameroon mission.
