Description
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) Cameroon implements humanitarian and development interventions in Douala, supporting communities affected by displacement, cross‑border mobility and environmental vulnerabilities. Communication plays a key role in documenting field activities, strengthening visibility, supporting donor engagement and enhancing community outreach. Under the supervision of the National Outreach and Visibility Officer and in close collaboration with the field teams (Douala Suboffice), the Communication Intern will contribute to basic communication tasks including content gathering, visibility support, field reporting and organization of communication materials. The internship aims to develop the intern’s practical skills in humanitarian communication and field outreach while supporting the mission’s visibility and engagement efforts.
Responsibilities
The intern will support basic communication tasks including content gathering, visibility support, and field reporting for humanitarian interventions in Douala. They will contribute to documenting field activities and enhancing community outreach under the supervision of the National Outreach and Visibility Officer.
