This position is titled Manager in Training because we want to ensure this is a good fit for you and us. You will begin at the lower end of our pay scale in this role. After a 30 day probation period a review will take place, if all goes well an offer will be made with a pay increase to become the Full Time Front of House Manager, known as Shift Lead.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Must have a reliable source of transportation
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must have ability to handle all restaurant equipment; navigating shelving both high and low
  • Ability to hear conversations (telephone or in-person)
  • Mobility required during shifts
  • Must be able to respond to changes or edits quickly and efficiently
  • Must have past experience in shift leading and/or leadership
  • Full-time must be available to work minimum of 32 hours per week, including Fridays & Saturdays
  • Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time
  • Must work well under pressure
  • Works in hot, noisy, and fast paced environment
  • Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills required
  • Ability to multitask
  • Team-oriented, adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethic
  • Must have good customer service skills

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring we perform to our best values between 2PM - Close (11PM)
  • Ensures Team Members are Guests focused, following hospitality & service protocols.
  • Ensures Team Members are accurately fulfilling Guest’s orders.
  • Ensures that Team Members work at a pace to maintain restaurant’s established speed of service guidelines.
  • Ensures a clean & safe environment following all Chick-fil-A food handling and safety protocols
  • Ensures minor labor law are being followed throughout the shift.
  • Executes break rotations to ensure Team vitality.
  • Monitors performance “pinch points” and takes corrective action.
  • Perform any of the tasks above as needed throughout shift.
  • Addresses guest issues that may arise; consults with management regarding complex issues.
  • Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all employees with respect while providing them with direction and feedback.
  • Communicates employee performance and policy/procedure violations to management for appropriate handling.
  • Strictly adheres to all Company policies and procedures.
