Position Summary: AAA, United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Mobile, AL that is one of the world's leaders in aircraft electrical systems. We are looking for experienced CFM Powerplant Mechanic & Logistics Specialist who are seeking their next opportunity in a complex and ever-changing work environment!. Essential Function: Maintenance Operations Perform maintenance actions on LEAP-1A engines to restore conformity, including part replacements and rework, in accordance with approved maintenance documentation (AMM, Service Bulletins, Temporary Work Instructions, etc.). Prepare required documentation, tools, parts, and resources prior to maintenance activities. Troubleshoot engine discrepancies and support corrective actions as needed. Conduct borescope inspections on LEAP-1A engines. Execute configuration control actions, including the application of Service Bulletins. Accurately document all completed work in Airbus systems and CFM internal systems. Comply with all Airbus and Safran Aircraft Engines (CFM) Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements, including proper use of PPE and adherence to Safety Data Sheets. Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and operational innovation efforts. Logistics & Inventory Management Manage the receipt, shipment, and storage of parts, tools, chemical products, and related materials. Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking all warehouse movements within the Inventory Management system. Conduct regular inventory counts and ensure warehouse organization and efficiency. Anticipate operational needs and proactively coordinate ordering of parts, tools, and chemical products. Monitor inventory obsolescence and ensure updates align with new engine configurations. Manage tool calibration schedules and ensure compliance with calibration requirements. Requirements Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in aircraft engine maintenance, powerplant maintenance, or a related aerospace role. Hands-on experience working with CFM engines preferred; LEAP-1A experience strongly preferred. Familiarity with aircraft maintenance documentation, including AMM, Service Bulletins, and work instructions. Experience performing engine troubleshooting, part replacements, and borescope inspections. Strong understanding of configuration control and documentation requirements. Experience with inventory management, logistics, or warehouse operations in an aerospace or industrial environment.
