CFO - Chief Financial Officer

Robert Half is looking for a Project professional for an interim opportunity as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO).As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall financial health and well-being of the organization. The contract CFO position will oversee all finance, accounting, internal controls, forecasting, budgeting, treasury, tax, contract administration, Information Technology, legal administrative, building maintenance and facilities functions.

How you will make an impact

• Develop improvements to ensure the integrity of a company’s financial information
• Strategically manage the Accounting and Finance functions
• Maintain relationships with investors and investment institutions
• Manage independent auditor relationships
• Supervise implementations and upgrades for financial systems
• Direct accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Recognize and manage business risks and insurance requirements
• Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Finance or Accounting
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a senior accounting/finance position
• Proficiency in accounting software and other computer software
• Strong communication (written and verbal) skills to interact clearly and effectively in a fast-changing environment
• Must have great interpersonal, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
• CPA designation or MBA highly preferred
