Job Summary: Our Client has over 30 years experience in business, they can help guide you as you navigate through the big decisions in your business. Role: The Offshore CFO is responsible for providing end-to-end financial management and strategic oversight across the group’s companies — including a sustainability/product business and a SaaS technology company — as well as the Managing Director’s personal financial affairs. This role combines high-level CFO leadership with hands-on finance operations, executive assistance in financial matters, and light HR administration. Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Operations - Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. - Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate ledgers. - Prepare monthly P&Ls, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and forecasts. - Deliver formal monthly reporting packs with commentary and insights. - Maintain accuracy and ensure timely reporting. 2. Strategic Finance & SaaS Expertise - Develop and track financial forecasts and budgets across multiple entities. - Analyze and present SaaS metrics including MRR, ARR, CAC, LTV, churn, and retention. - Support preparation of financial models, pitch decks, and fundraising documents for SaaS business activities. - Advise on cash flow management and business planning. 3. Compliance & Coordination - Oversee Australian compliance matters: BAS, payroll, superannuation, and ASIC lodgements. - Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors to ensure compliance. - Ensure accurate record-keeping and statutory filings. 4. Personal & Investment Management - Track and oversee investments, including property and superannuation. - Vet and recommend investment opportunities. - Liaise with financial advisors, fund managers, and accountants. - Administer personal financial records for the Managing Director. 5. HR & Executive Assistance - Draft, issue, and manage employment contracts using templates. - Build and edit job descriptions. - Handle small-scale HR administration as the business grows. - Coordinate correspondence and manage advisor relationships. Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience in a CFO or senior finance role, ideally in SaaS or technology startups. Able to work on a 3 day Hybrid setup in our office (Located at Quezon Avenue Corner Scout Reyes Diliman QC) Strong background in financial operations, forecasting, and management reporting. Expertise in SaaS metrics and capital raising support. Working knowledge of Australian compliance requirements. Experience managing HR processes, employment contracts, and job descriptions. High attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical capability. Ability to balance hands-on accounting with strategic financial leadership.
