JOB DESCRIPTIONCHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO) – CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

Location: Watertown, CT (onsite, with flexibility as needed)
Compensation: $225K + bonus

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE CFO

• 7+ years of construction industry experience with deep knowledge of WIP reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or CPA preferred
• Proven success as a hands-on CFO
• Ability to step into the CFO role immediately

• Lead the financial strategy and operations of a $10M+ construction company
• As CFO, oversee financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting with a strong focus on WIP reporting and construction industry standards.
• Provide hands-on CFO leadership to a small accounting/finance team, mentoring and developing staff.
• Partner with the CEO/Owner as the CFO voice in strategic planning and decision-making.
• Drive financial discipline while maintaining the company’s approachable, collaborative culture.
