QUALIFICATIONS OF THE CFO:

• 10+ years of experience in finance and operations.
• 5+ years in nonprofit financial leadership, preferably in a senior role.
• CPA required; Master’s in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Strong expertise in budgeting, financial reporting, audits, and endowment management.
• Experience managing IT and facilities teams.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and financial systems
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to mentor staff and collaborate with senior leadership and board committees.

In this highly impactful role, the Chief Financial Officer will lead finance, IT, and facilities operations. Located in Boston’s Back Bay, this organization operates with a $10M annual budget, 70% funded by endowments and 30% by grants and fundraising. The CFO will report to the President and work closely with the Treasurer and Board of Trustees.
