Job Purpose  * Lead and enhance finance function to support the financial performance, planning and control for the International Offices (i.e. CIMB Cambodia, CIMB Vietnam, CIMB Philippines, Hong Kong Branch, Shanghai Branch, Labuan Branch, London Branch and other international offices). * Lead and oversee all financial matters across International Offices, ensuring compliance with local regulations, tax, audits, and reporting. * Oversee finance operational matters across International Offices, driving implementation of finance policies and strategies. * Provide strategic financial guidance to key and senior leadership, supporting informed decision-making and long-term financial sustainability Key Responsibilities  * Oversee all financial matters across the countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations, tax, audits, and reporting requirements. * Provide strategic financial leadership, aligning country operations with the Group’s overall financial goals and performance targets. * Oversee the financial operations by ensuring adherence to best practices for financial management and control. * Act as the key liaison between Group Finance and country finance teams, ensuring consistency in financial policies, controls and reporting. * Provide strategic financial advice and insights to the key and senior managements including Country CEOs and GEXCO members whom are overseeing the International Offices. * Drive financial planning, performance management, and operational efficiency across countries. * Drive and manage finance projects and intiatives across countries, enhancing operational efficiency and strengthening internal controls and governance and mitigate financial risks. * Oversee and drive the implementation of localised ECL models and other Financial reporting standards initiatives. * Monitor and enhance financial performance by identifying opportunities, addressing challenges, and monitoring key financial metrics. * Represent the International Office in financial discussions with auditors, regulators, and key stakeholders and also represent Group Finance in each country’s committees. * Stay ahead of evolving financial regulations and accounting standards, ensuring timely adaptation and best practices.
