CFO

Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking a CFO. The CFO must have an ability to work well with the CEO, board members and other senior executives, as well as strong analytical, strategic-planning, operational and communication skills. Healthcare or nonprofit experience required. If you are an experienced CFO looking for a challenging role at an established company, this may be the role for you.

How you will make an impact

• Identify and control business risks and insurance requirements
• Ensure staff compliance with state and federal laws and company’s policies
• Hire, train and retain accounting and finance staff
• Oversee implementations and upgrades for financial systems
• Recommend improvements to continue the integrity of a company’s financial information
• Manage vendor relationships
• Manage relationships with investors and investment institutions
• Manage all finance personnel
• Supervise accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
• Manage the relationship with independent auditors
• Provide the finance and accounting functions with strategic management
• Analyze if cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations
• MBA, CPA, CGMA or CMA preferred
• Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding GAAP and firm accounting policies and procedure
• Public accounting experience a plus
• 10+ years’ experience in accounting or finance
• 5+ years’ management experience
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills
