Description

Robert Half is looking for a dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee and enhance the financial operations of our client’s organization in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. This key leadership role requires a strategic thinker with expertise in financial planning, analysis, and compliance to drive sustainable growth and ensure regulatory adherence. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in financial consolidation, process improvement, and mergers and acquisitions.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of robust financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Manage accounting functions, including auditing processes and preparation of consolidated financial statements.
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure accurate financial planning and cash flow management.
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations, including FAR and DCAA standards.
  • Conduct financial due diligence and analysis for mergers and acquisitions.
  • Develop and implement advanced financial models to support decision-making and organizational growth.
  • Drive continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency and streamline operations.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align financial goals with overall business strategies.
  • Utilize tools like Unanet and Microsoft Excel for effective financial reporting and analysis.
  • Monitor and report on key financial metrics to support data-driven decision-making.

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.
  • Proven experience in financial leadership roles, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of federal regulations such as FAR and DCAA.
  • Expertise in financial modeling and developing financial strategies.
  • Proficiency in software tools like Unanet and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and integration.
  • Familiarity with auditing processes and consolidated financial statements.
  • Track record of driving process improvements and operational efficiency.
