JOB STATEMENT: The chain account executive main responsibilities are to sell programs at the headquarters level of chain stores, establish and maintain rapport with our customers and aid in the development and leadership of chain merchandisers.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES: * Sell programs at headquarter level to chain accounts * Manage chain accounts at headquarters, Field Sales Manager and Store Levels * Train, manage, educate and lead chain merchandisers * Communicate all pertinent information to chain division * Maintain proper communication with Classic Wines of California management * Any other duties assigned by supervisor * Advice senior management of areas where the company can save money and/or promote company efficiencies * Keep assigned salespeople advised of sales trends, promotions, special pricing, etc * Advise senior management of all problems and opportunities and recommend solutions   JOB REQUIREMENTS:   Education/Experience: * Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience * 3 years of wine industry experience at the Supplier Level, District Manager, Key Account Manager or other Management level * General Alcohol and Beverage experience highly preferred   Knowledge of: * Excellent communication, organizational, and self-motivational skills  * High level of integrity, confidence    Ability to: * Interact with and effectively supervise different people * Make sound decisions regarding sales and personnel * Work independently and effectively in assigned area PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Sit for an extensive period of time  * Lift occasionally (office materials, wine boxes) * Perform tasks using standard computer equipment   WORK ENVIRONMENT:  * Indoor climate * Limited noise levels                                       PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:   * Side shield safety glasses, safety vest, head/ear protection and proper footwear when in production facility
