We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chairside/CERTIFIED Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dental team. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about dentistry and committed to ensuring a positive experience for our patients.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in dental assisting is an asset
  • Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.

    Pay: $19.00-$26.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 28 – 40 per week

Schedule:

Responsibilities
  • Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Tracker
  • Manage appointment scheduling, confirming visits, and handling patient inquiries as a dental receptionist when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Support orthodontic procedures by preparing materials and assisting with patient fittings.
  • Work collaboratively with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
