Responsibilities
  • Assisting the Chandlery Manager and wider team in the daily operations of our retail chandlery, stores, and workshop parts counter.
  • Providing excellent customer service – in-store, by phone, and via email – to both retail and trade customers.
  • Advising on and selling a wide range of marine products, tools, and parts.
  • Supporting internal departments including workshop, boatbuilding, and commercial vessels teams.
  • Following up customer enquiries and processing sales, orders, refunds, and quotes.
  • Managing stock levels, product displays, and participating in promotions and seasonal events.
  • Assisting with stock control, including price updates, annual stock take, and day-to-day inventory accuracy.
  • Handling payments and maintaining a secure, tidy and attractive retail environment.
  • Assisting with fuel pontoon sales and related administration when needed.
  • Opening and closing the store (as required) following security procedures.
