The Change Management Consultant will support process, technology, and people transformation change management initiatives across a variety of groups within the clients organization. This includes working closely with clients to assess their change needs, develop and implement change management strategies and plans, and measure the success of these initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of change management principles and practices, along with experience in engaging with a variety of stakeholders across an organization.
This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office with work performed at the client site in Arlington, VA or Washington, DC; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable at the clients discretion.

Responsibilities

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support change management initiatives for a large federal client
  • Conduct change impact assessments and identify risks and opportunities
  • Develop and implement change management strategies and plans
  • Create and deliver communication and engagement plans
  • Work with project teams to integrate organizational change management activities into the overall project plan
  • Measure and report on the success and adoption of change initiatives
  • Provide support to clients throughout the change process
  • Work with a variety of stakeholders, including employees, managers, and executives
  • Develop and deliver change management training to clients
  • Draft communications and change management plans for a variety of stakeholders regarding upcoming milestones, updates, and required tasks
  • Participate in business development opportunities to help shape change management solutions
  • Identify change champions and participate in the development of the organization’s change management methodology and plan
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest change management trends and best practices

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field
  • Experience in change management or a related field
  • Solid understanding of change management principles and practices
  • Experience in leading and managing change management initiatives for technology transformations
  • Experience working directly with clients & internal teams to understand business requirements and assess the change impact(s)
  • Assist in change impact assessments and readiness evaluations
  • Ability to identify anticipated points of resistance and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns
  • Experience conducting readiness assessments, evaluating results, and presenting findings in a clear and logical manner
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to think critically and use analytical skills to drive the successful adoption of new processes, systems, and technologies

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $78,400.00 - $169,700.00.
