If you thrive on change and enjoy guiding others through transitions while ensuring they feel heard and supported, this role is for you. We are looking for a Change Management Lead who will provide strategic change management expertise in support of our Workday Finance implementation through development and implementation of a change engagement and readiness plan. A key aspect of this role is to provide change management and technology adoption expertise and leadership to support the people side of change. You will work in partnership with key stakeholders to develop, manage and execute change management plans. You will be responsible for ensuring that organizational change management standards are applied to this initiative and that there is alignment between the scope and impact of change, ensuring expectations are consistent between the project sponsor and project team.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Report to the Workday Finance Project Manager.
  • Work with the Project Management Office (PMO) in planning, developing, executing, and monitoring change initiatives and plans throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead change management activities in the implementation of the Workday Finance ERP system.
  • Leverage the organizational change management strategy, and best practices are adopted and leveraged within the project.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and support our leaders in their role as change champions.
  • Engage, guide, mentor, and coach key stakeholders (e.g. executive sponsors, change champions) on OCM best practices to lead and support adoption of change.
  • Identify risks that could impact project scope, schedule and cost and develop mitigation strategies for these risks.
  • Help leaders and teams enhance their capabilities to understand how change impacts people, the reasons why people resist change and how to support people as they transition through change.
  • Collaborate and work effectively with individuals and teams to integrate change practices at all levels of the organization.
  • Develop a network of change agents to support project change activities in a variety of business units.
  • Work in consultation with stakeholders to identify communications, learning, and training needs, and develop a stakeholder engagement to plan to prioritize activities and tailor change implementation materials.
  • Foster a member focused culture that is focused on continuous improvement, teamwork, and innovation.
  • Identify change management improvements, provide recommendations, and support communication efforts related to change.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Learning, Communication, Organizational Behavior, or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in delivering organizational change management (OCM) including change management strategy, change readiness, change impact, stakeholder management, communications, engagement, and leadership alignment related to transformation and technology solutions.
  • Extensive experience in change management industry standards, best practices, and methodologies, with a certification in change management methodology (Prosci®, CCMP, or similar) strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience in a change role related to a Finance ERP Implementation (Workday Finance preferred)
  • Proven experience with cross-functional business projects and digital transformations.
  • Experience in an agile environment.
  • Strong experience in presentation and group facilitation skills.
  • You’ve proven that you know how to get high quality results and foster positive relationships with various stakeholders.
  • You have good computer skills and are comfortable learning new applications and systems.
