You will work across the organisation to understand how these changes impact people who work at Companies House. Building strong relationships with operational colleagues, service owners, and business owners to assess change readiness and deliver change in a structured way.
Working closely with our delivery partners to develop the right communication, engagement, training, and readiness plans that make sure people affected by the proposed changes are ready, willing, and able to adopt them.

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will report to a Principal Change Manager in the Change team and your key responsibilities are:

  • Conduct effective change impact and readiness assessments to understand the impacts on our people.
  • Undertake stakeholder analysis to inform our change management plans and strategy.
  • Work with our project centre community to integrate and track change deliverables and milestones in project/programme plans.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and use these insights to inform targeted and tailored engagement and communication plans.
  • Work with delivery partners (including the Implementation Unit, Internal Communications, Learning and Development, and HR teams) to develop plans that make sure the business and our people are change ready.
  • Plan and facilitate workshops, focus groups and other engagement activities with people impacted by the change.
  • Develop transition plans to make sure the business is ready to adopt the changes.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

We are looking for the following experience, which will be assessed at sift and interview. Please refer to this section when writing your personal statement.
We are looking for an experienced change professional with a passion for change and an understanding of supporting people through complex change journeys, with knowledge and proven experience of using change management principles, methodologies, and tools.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for individuals with:

  • Experience and knowledge of using change management principles, methodologies, and tools such as change impact and readiness assessments and stakeholder analysis.
  • Experience of delivering projects where change deliverables are integrated and tracked.
  • Experience of planning and facilitating engagement activities such as workshops and focus groups with individuals impacted by change.
  • Experience of developing and implementing transition plans for business changes.

You will also be resilient, able to work at pace and under pressure with:

  • A high degree of emotional intelligence and empathy.
  • Flexible and adaptable, and comfortable working in ambiguity.
  • Exceptional listening and communication skills.
  • Able to articulate messages to a variety of audiences, including senior stakeholders. - Proactive, organised, and able to work autonomously.
  • Approachable and able to create an inclusive environment that brings different perspectives together.
  • A confident facilitator with the ability to influence/engage positively at all levels.
  • Have a growth mindset and a desire to challenge and improve established practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

A change management qualification such as APMG, or PROSCI or equivalent demonstrable experience of managing change.
