QUALIFICATIONS/CERTIFICATES/PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • 5 Years experience in Change Management roles
  • Proven experience in leading change management within complex project environments, preferably within a PMO or transformation office.
  • Strong understanding of change management methodologies (e.g. ADKAR, Prosci) and their practical application.
  • Prosci (or other) change management certifications.
  • Experience working in aged care, healthcare, or regulated environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Change Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring that change initiatives across the PMO portfolio are effectively managed, adopted and embedded. This role leads the planning and execution of change management strategies to support successful project delivery, training, stakeholder engagement and benefits realisation. The Change Manager works cross-functionally with project teams, business units and senior stakeholders to drive consistent adoption of new processes, systems and behaviours aligned with organisational goals.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement change management strategies and plans that maximise adoption and usage while minimising resistance.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement, communication and training activities across the PMO portfolio and within projects.
  • Support the PMO Manager with training, education and embedding change relating to organisational project maturity uplift.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Business Analysts to ensure change impacts are identified, assessed and addressed.
  • Plan for and deliver training withing
  • Monitor and report on change readiness, adoption metrics, and feedback loops to inform continuous improvement.
  • Support the integration of change management into project lifecycle governance and reporting frameworks.
  • Champion a culture of change agility and continuous improvement across the organisation.
  • Embed change management principles into project planning and delivery, ensuring alignment with PMO methodologies.
  • Contribute to project scoping by identifying change impacts and stakeholder needs early in the lifecycle. 2
  • Support the development of project artefacts such as Communication Plans, Training Plans, and Change Impact Assessments.
  • Participate in project health checks and governance reviews to ensure change risks are proactively managed.
  • Work closely with the PMO to ensure change activities are tracked, resourced, and aligned with portfolio priorities.
