Who We Need – Change Manager We are seeking a highly experienced Change Manager with proven Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) ERP implementation experience to join our xPMO team at Decision Inc. This role is critical to the success of complex, enterprise-scale D365 programmes and will focus on driving adoption, business readiness, and value realisation. The role requires on-site presence in Cape Town, working closely with client stakeholders, programme leadership, and delivery teams. The Change Manager will be fully accountable for the people-side success of Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP implementations, ensuring business adoption is embedded throughout the programme lifecycle. Key responsibilities include: Lead the end-to-end Change Management stream for D365 ERP implementations, aligned to programme objectives, timelines, and budget. Drive adoption of D365-enabled business processes across Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, HR, and other functional areas. Embed change management activities into the integrated programme plan in close collaboration with Programme Managers, Solution Architects, and Functional Leads. Own stakeholder adoption, readiness, and engagement to ensure successful D365 go-live and sustained post-implementation usage. Serve as the primary driver of change governance, coordination, and delivery on the programme. Work on site in Cape Town, enabling hands-on engagement with business leaders and delivery teams. Change Manager Responsibilities Analysis Conduct detailed D365 ERP change impact assessments, covering: Business processes and controls Role and responsibility changes Data, reporting, and decision-making impacts Perform stakeholder analysis and executive-level interviews. Assess organisational readiness for D365 adoption. Establish and lead a Change Champion / Super User network across business units. Design Develop a D365-specific Change Management Strategy using recognised methodologies (e.g., Prosci). Design a structured communication strategy aligned to D365 programme milestones (design, UAT, cutover, go-live). Define a role-based training and enablement approach, aligned to D365 modules and business processes. Implementation Execute the Change Management Strategy across all D365 implementation phases. Deliver targeted communications supporting key ERP milestones. Actively support business stakeholders during design, testing, training, deployment, and hypercare. Provide change input into training material development and delivery planning. Support stabilisation and adoption post go-live. Measurement and Reporting Define and track change and adoption metrics (readiness, training completion, system usage, proficiency). Provide weekly reporting to the Programme Manager / PMO. Deliver structured client-facing reporting, highlighting risks, dependencies, and mitigation actions. Proactively manage people-related risks impacting ERP benefits realisation. Financial & Risk Management Contribute to financial planning and forecasting within the Change Management stream. Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and cost effectiveness. Manage allocated resources responsibly. Provide input into programme risk and issue management with a strong focus on adoption risk. Who Do You Need to Be? Qualifications & Experience Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Organisational Psychology, HR, or Communications. 8+ years Change Management experience, with strong, demonstrable experience on Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP implementations. Experience across D365 modules such as Finance, Supply Chain Management, Operations, and HR. Proven delivery experience on large-scale enterprise transformation programmes. Consulting background and multi-industry exposure preferred. Must be Cape Town–based and available to work on site. Certifications (Required or Preferred) Prosci Change Management Certification (strongly preferred). Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation experience (certifications advantageous). Project / Programme Management certification (PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent). Experience working in Agile or hybrid ERP delivery environments. Knowledge & Skills Deep understanding of D365-enabled business transformation. Strong grasp of ERP implementation lifecycles and dependencies. Expert application of change frameworks (ADKAR, Kotter, Lewin). Strong executive stakeholder management and facilitation skills. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving capability. Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, and Miro.
