Highly Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • ITIL V3 or V4 certification or understanding of ITIL processes.
  • Understanding of how change and release management processes integrate with other ITIL processes.
  • Familiarity with Defence ITSM processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Service Manager or other service management tools
Responsibilities
  • Must have at least Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance, NV2 preferred.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen
  • Mon to Fri - office hours
    Working from our Canberra client site, you’ll collaborate closely with a small team to ensure seamless implementation of changes and releases, adhering to strict Defence policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare changes to meet operational requirements.
  • Coordinate changes effectively across multiple vendors.
  • Conduct governance activities in alignment with change and release processes.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Defence change and release policies.
  • Facilitate change reviews and approvals.
  • Manage the forward schedule of change, mitigating scheduling conflicts.
  • Identify and implement Continuous Service Improvements.
  • Commit to adhering to Defence delivery methods and outcomes.

Secondary Role Functions:

  • Support incident, problem, and service request fulfillment processes.

Essential Criteria:

  • Self-motivated with a drive to achieve deliverables and positive outcomes.
  • Excellent presentation, engagement, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team with minimal supervision.
