POSITION OVERVIEW

The Channel Account Manager (CAM) in the Philippines will collaborate with our Partner community and provide holistic and outstanding experience to customers. The Channel Account Manager will be responsible for driving new opportunities with and through our partner network. The Channel Account Manager will also be responsible for growing the partner landscape.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3 years sales experience in the IT sales industry preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of channel sales experience with understanding of the Cybersecurity market preferred
  • Work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment under minimal supervision to provide detailed technical knowledge of Trend Micro software products
  • Possess good business acumen in channel sales management with a deep motivation for achievement the channel sales targets
  • Ability to close business while achieving a high level of partner satisfaction

Responsibilities

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Aggressively drive partner to maximize sales and total partnership potential through best sales practices, training and support
  • Additional responsibilities may include establishing contact, business development, cultivation, product positioning proposal, presentation and closing sales with the channels
  • Work collaboratively with Channel Account Managers and Regional Account Managers to build existing partner relationships
  • Recruitment of partners to the Trend Partner program to identify and target partner organizations as new prospects
  • Identify areas of opportunities to secure additional partners to become a part of Trend Micro’s Affinity partner program in the specific region
  • Engaging with partners at all levels to increase the awareness of Trend Micro’s values proposition – including partner principles, sales, marketing procurement and support teams. Pro-actively engage and drive opportunities with Trend Micro Affinity partners
  • Implement channel partner sales strategy, meet sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction in a manner consistent with company policy and goals

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in industry conferences, trade shows and seminars, as required

  • Participate in the planning and execution of programs designed to promote Trend Micro’s activities

  • Document and regularly maintain all relevant information in Salesforce
