POSITION SUMMARY

The Channel Account Manager, VAR/MSP will have a key role in the recruitment, development, ongoing account management and Success of named VARs/MSPs and Cloud Service Providers. This role is an individual contributor position. The individual should be used to cold calling, opening doors, channel development etc. The position also forms a vital part of a small, tight knit, Channel Sales and Marketing “team” - and the individual will be a team-player focused on the goal of successfully growing the Vtech/SNOM brand within the channel.

POSITION SKILLS

  • Seasoned creator of presentations, solution proposals, and business case.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent customer focus and adaptability.
  • Experience and comfort level in configuring and orchestrating demonstrations of solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in building and maintaining collaborative relationships with cross functional teams.Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Microsoft Office 365 preferred.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

  • At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in VAR, service provider, hosted or cloud based voice, video or other unified communications technology salesBachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field; or any combination of experience and education that provides the necessary skills, knowledge and ability to perform essential functions of this role.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Assume overall Account Management responsibility for current and targeted VARs, MSPs and Cloud Service Providers.
  • Work with the sales leadership team to develop and execute a plan for success to address maximum coverage and performance of the assigned and targeted Managed Service Providers.
  • Develop and maintain strong business partnership relationships across all levels including the senior levels within the current and targeted Managed Service Providers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive strategic Service Provider/VAR accounts wins and competitive win backs to meet and exceed assigned sales goals and targets.
  • Develop and implement go to market strategies to drive transactional sales to ensure the company successfully meets targeted revenue, profitability and market share targets across all solution sets.
  • Promote and raise the profile of the entire Vtech/Snom solution offerings, driving positive brand equity, market share and mind share acquisition.
  • Maintain a fiscally responsible focus in developing and executing appropriate financial models, pricing, and gross margins to win business and meet company goals.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive account relations strategy and monitor its effectiveness through regular contact with assigned VARs/Managed Service Providers.
  • Ensure all activities are following both local and US laws and ensure high levels of ethical conduct are adhered to.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate forecasting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Responsible for complete and accurate forecasts, proposals, and account activity in the company customer relationship management (CRM) tool.
  • Collaborate through communication and teamwork with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous, and professional manner
  • Exercise sound business judgment
  • Work independently and collaboratively and manage time effectively to meet changing deadlines and priorities
  • Treat all employees, guests and customers and others affiliated with our business with respect
  • Conform and abide by all laws, regulations, policies, work procedures, instructions and VTech’s Rules of Engagement

The Channel Account Manager position pays a compensation range from $90,000 to $110,000 base salary + commission based on the incumbent’s background and experience relevant to the position’s requirements. We provide excellent medical, dental, and vision benefits. Full-time employees earn 18 days of Paid Time Off your first year, plus 10 standard and 3 flexible company-paid holidays. Employees receive a 401K company match of up to a 4.5%. VTech offers paid parental leave and paid volunteer time off benefits
