JOB DESCRIPTION:

An exciting and key leadership opportunity, reporting to the Sales Director, Pet Nutrition Australia, we are seeking an experienced and passionate leader to oversee the Coles and Woolworths account teams.
In this role, you’ll shape and drive the long-term channel strategy while ensuring the delivery of high-impact growth plans.
You will lead and develop a team of 9 sales Associates (5 direct reports) and receive dedicated support from Category, SRM, Finance, Demand Planning, Shopper Marketing and Supply.
This role forms a key Leadership position within the Pet Sales and Marketing Leadership Team and Pet Senior Leadership Community, and as such is expected to help develop and lead the Sales function and wider business in general; continually building our capabilities, working on enterprise strategies and assignments, and driving enhanced associate engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Develop three year corporate grocery omni-channel and account strategies that align with Mars Petcare’s strategy in action and deliver quality growth targets
  • Long term Omni-Channel Strategy and Joint Business Development
  • P&L Management - continually drive the team’s achievement of the sales result, and an ongoing increase in forecast accuracy
  • Execution of NPD and through the line brand activation, including maximising plans and ROI
  • Holding total responsibility for the GSV and Net Sales result for Corporate Grocery, this position is targeted to continually drive the team’s achievement of that sales result
  • Team and Associate Development – Ensure team capabilities and competencies are fit for tomorrow and assess and develop individual needs.
  • Customer Leadership - Develop strong stakeholder map at all levels within the Customers’ organisations including Supply Chain, Sustainability, Finance, and Marketing.
  • Plan and conduct regular top to top meetings, business reviews, and trade relations activities.
