PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 7+ years of experience in channel enablement, partner programs, or channel sales within the IT industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in people management or team leadership roles preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful enablement strategies that drive measurable results.
  • Deep understanding of B2B sales cycles, channel partner ecosystems, and distribution models.
  • Familiarity with IT hardware, software, and cloud solutions.
  • Strong team leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing talent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Confident delivering presentations, training, and workshops to diverse audiences.
  • Skilled in managing complex projects and cross-functional teams across multiple geographies.
  • Ability to influence without authority and build strong internal and external relationships.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using performance insights to shape enablement strategies.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in Salesforce, LMS platforms, partner portals, and CRM systems.
  • Advanced user of Excel, PowerPoint, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

AMD is seeking an APJ Channel Enablement Manager to lead the development and execution of strategic channel enablement programs that empower AMD’s partner ecosystem. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring that our channel partners are equipped with the tools, training, and resources they need to accelerate sales performance and deliver business outcomes.
In addition to driving key enablement initiatives, this role includes people management responsibilities for a team of Channel Enablement Specialists. As a team leader, you will coach, guide, and develop your direct reports, fostering a high-performing culture focused on partner success, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
As a strategic liaison between AMD and its partners, this role requires a strong communicator with demonstrated experience in channel sales, partner enablement, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and product management teams to align enablement initiatives with AMD’s go-to-market strategy and business objectives.
