Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Channel Finance Manager will be aligned to a particular cluster of customers, and is accountable for the financial delivery, objective performance insight and challenge, and governance of their respective customer cluster.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide insight to the Account Directors and their teams on customer performance, including analysis against budget, forecast and prior year with clear provocations to action.
  • Through accurate and insightful reporting on a monthly basis, continually raise awareness of financial performance across the commercial teams.
  • Ensure plans are in place to deliver and where possible exceed budget commitments.
  • Identify risks and opportunities to the commercial delivery of budget and then work with cross-functional partners to ensure these are either mitigated or realised, as appropriate.
  • Support the rolling forecast and budgeting process, ensuring a robust, deliverable plan with clear risks and opportunities identified.
  • Protect the business by ensuring a high level of financial governance and control across all trade investment and capital.
  • Input into the design followed by supporting the implementation of any projects that impact their customer cluster
