Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain a highly effective sales channel strategy for a specified market (regional) to improve ABB’s market penetration and achieve its growth aspirations. Each day, you will plan and ensure the execution of the business area/division sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for the assigned channel in a profitable way with a focus on orders, revenues, growth, margin, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the related Channel Sales organization.

YOU WILL BE MAINLY ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

  • Customer relations: Drive strategic partnerships, develop personal relationships with partners, customers and other decision makers.
  • Ensuring appropriate communication, promotion, and training activities are in place for our channel partners
  • Effectively implement & drive the defined channel sales strategy in specified market scope (regional) in order to improve ABB market penetration and realize growth aspirations in the assigned channel.
  • Identify and evaluate channel partners (as agreed ABB policies and standards including digital and excitation), together with the Sales Director & appoint them.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

  • Ability to demonstrate your experience in driving Channel Sales for Automation & Digital products. You have 5-7 years of relevant experience of managing Channel Partners / System Integrators for Automation & Digital Solutions.
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of using CRM (preferably Salesforce) and other Sales forecasting and reporting tools.
  • You are passionate about Sales & business development in new territories from grass root level.
  • Degree in Engineering and process automation experience.
  • You are at ease communicating with various levels in the organization internally and cross functionally
  • You are at ease communicating in English
