For the Nordic Marketing Communications team of Sony Electronics in Denmark, located in Valby, we are looking for a Channel Marketing Manager with hands-on experience in digital marketing to cover a maternity leaver in our team for a year.
Job Purpose:
In the role of Channel Marketing Manager, you are responsible to lead our efforts in maximizing Sony Nordic’s online and offline sales and in-house share across key categories, markets, and customer segments. You will collaborate with our retail partners leading initiatives to maximize Sony’s online and offline presence. You will play a crucial role in crafting and executing a comprehensive 360° marketing strategy that guides consumers through their entire journey—from initial awareness to orientation, conversion, and long-term retention.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Define and implement targets and action plans for communication via our retail partners, including a detailed timeline and strategic approach.
  • Oversee and coordinate all in-store and digital marketing initiatives within the designated channel.
  • Ensure best online visibility and user experience on retailer websites by presenting products and campaigns compellingly and providing relevant content to the retailers to drive conversion.
  • Event planning and coordination in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Event evaluation and follow up with internal presentations to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with the rest of the Marketing and Sales team to set goals and develop activation plans, designing and implementing strategies to enhance Sony’s sales with assigned business partners.
  • Work with cross-functional teams in both Nordics and Sony Europe to implement and ensure compliance with product communication strategies for achieving desired outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders and achieve targets consistently.
  • Follow up on results, create engaging presentations and present internally to relevant Sony stakeholders.

What is Sony looking for?

  • A university degree in a relevant field that aligns with the role.
  • Proficiency in business English, both spoken and written.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Digital Marketing within the retail sector—experience in Sales or Marketing is a plus.
  • Strong project manager and coordination skills with a structured approach
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for details, driven by facts and figures.
  • A commercially driven mindset with a self-motivated approach and effective negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM, and other relevant information systems.
  • Experience in asset creation (E.g. Adobe Photoshop), content management, and user experience is highly valued.
  • A proactive attitude that drives results.
