Compensation & Compensation 40 hours per week Sunday-Thursday 8-4:30pm (flexible) Primarily day shift hours but hours may be adjusted Pay: $60,000/annually Job Description Provides pastoral care to residents and their families through regular visitation and in times of need. Prepares crisis intervention and responds promptly to all referrals from administration and support services. Prepares order of worship and advises residents of place, time and frequencies. Assists residents in end of life services to meet their needs, carry out their wishes, preserve their dignity, etc. through empathy, understanding and cooperation. Qualifications Master of Divinity degree or equivalent and be ordained or licensed to ministries of word and sacrament. Ordination in a mainline Protestant body (UMC, UCC, Presbyterian U.S.A., ELCA, Episcopal Church, American Baptist) preferred. One unit of ACPE-accredited clinical pastoral education and three years experience in hospital or eldercare chaplaincy required.
