Overview We are seeking a part-time Chaplain to work with our residents in our Assisted Living facilities! Schedule includes: This position is scheduled for 25-30 hours per pay period. Located on bus line Limited Education scholarships A Community of Care – we live and work our values and offer a friendly, collaborative work environment About our community Catholic Eldercare is a community of residential facilities in Northeast Minneapolis offering services in assisted living, independent living, skilled nursing, memory care, transitional care and adult day services. Responsibilities Regular visits with residents as a Pastoral/spiritual presence Collaborate with Pastoral Care team and Interdisciplinary team, participate in care conferences as needed Conduct communal prayer services on unit as scheduled Arrange that Sacramental needs for residents are met as requested Able to administer sacramental communion is required Qualifications Degree in Theology or Pastoral ministry preferred 1-2 units of CPE, or equivalent training or experience Two+ years of experience working in long term care or hospice preferred Broad understanding of diverse religious traditions Active member in a church/temple/mosque of applicant's faith tradition or spiritual community Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate clearly and effectively Catholic Eldercare is an equal opportunity employer. Responsibilities
