In this key role, you will drive the development of our new API platform and contribute directly to our SaaS ambitions. You’ll be shaping the technical vision, fostering innovation, and aligning strategy with execution across multiple teams.

YOU ALREADY HAVE THIS KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering (preferably in Golang).
  • Several years of leadership or coaching experience within development teams
  • Proven experience with API architecture and cloud environments (preferably AWS)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI or related field
  • Fluent in English, with strong communication and collaboration skills

Our stack is mainly composed of the following tools:

  • Golang
  • Kubernetes
Responsibilities

As Chapter Lead Backend, you will take the lead in managing and mentoring nine talented Golang developers across three agile teams. You will set the direction for backend development, enforce best practices, and ensure technological excellence while being hands-on involved in building and optimizing our API infrastructure.

  • Mentor and coach the Golang chapter, ranging from junior to senior level
  • Align team capacity and staffing, and encourage knowledge sharing
  • Drive the technical vision and enforce engineering best practices
  • Finalize and scale our new API Hub, while phasing out legacy APIs
  • Collaborate closely with product management and fellow chapter leads to align strategy and execution
