Guiding the chapter in delivering high‑quality, maintainable, and secure software solutions Acting as a key interface between chapter and the Engineering CoE, ensuring organisational engineering standards are both actionable in practice and informed by delivery realities Monitoring and improving mobile engineering quality, technical health, and delivery performance using engineering and flow metrics Evaluating, adopting, and evolving modern mobile technologies, frameworks, and tools to ensure sustainable engineering practices Driving adoption of AI‑augmented Mobile engineering to enhance productivity and impact Shaping the mobile engineering aspects of the product roadmap, including technical debt reduction and architectural sustainability Defining, enforcing, and evolving mobile engineering standards, quality expectations, and best practices across squads Ensuring consistency in design, development, testing, observability, and maintainability across the chapter Providing visibility into mobile engineering health, risks, and maturity, enabling informed decision‑making Promoting continuous improvement, technical excellence, and knowledge‑sharing via reviews, tech talks, and communities of practice Ensuring alignment on Definition of Done, documentation practices, and shared engineering workflows Supporting recruiting, onboarding, and retaining top mobile engineering talent Coaching and develops mobile engineers through regular feedback, structured development, and capability uplift Fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and psychologically safe culture to support long‑term talent growth. Strong expertise in the relevant craft area – coding, testing, automation, or another engineering discipline Deep knowledge of modern collaboration and engineering practice patterns Strong awareness of embedding security, performance, and quality practices with ability to integrate into daily engineering work and long‑term technical decisions Experience working with a wide range of tools and frameworks allowing evaluating, adopting, and evolving technology choices to support effective engineering delivery Solid experience with flow, continuous improvement, and outcome‑driven development Ability to stay ahead of technology trends by continuously exploring new capabilities, practices, and technologies — including AI‑augmented approaches Solution‑oriented enabler mindset focusing on removing friction, supporting teams, and helping engineers deliver high‑quality outcomes Ability to explain complex functional and technical trade‑offs with clarity, and influence decisions across teams and stakeholders Ability to lead through partnership by coaching and mentoring while working alongside engineers, supporting their growth and building trust within and across squads.
