WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for an exceptional leader with:

• 10+ years of experience in a senior VACC leadership position in health & safety within a large multi-national corporation.
• Recognized expertise in health & safety with a strong global network, and proven experience in implementing health & safety programs on an R&D/manufacturing site.
• Experience in roles requiring networked leadership capabilities in a matrix environment, managing high degrees of complexity while balancing short-term delivery and long-term success.
• Exposure to complex work environments that demand the ability to manage change and ambiguity, and to rigorously prioritize in order to achieve business objectives.
• An effective communicator who inspires and motivates others, with the ability to influence through active listening and concise messaging. You are empathetic while providing clear direction across different levels of the organization and courageous in expressing your ideas.

Articulate a clear and inspiring vision for the organization, aligning it with organizational goals and motivating individuals to contribute their best.
• Technical Leadership in Safety, Security & Health: Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of robust and practical technical safety, health (including wellbeing), and security programs and procedures. Identify emerging SHE risks and opportunities on a global scale and contribute to the development of proactive mitigation strategies. Provide technical guidance and support for risk assessments, hazard identification, and the implementation of effective control measures.
• Effectively manage team resources, including budget and workload, and provide clarity, explaining the “why” to support team members in navigating ambiguity.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement practical and effective SHE solutions that integrate into existing business processes and contribute to overall business success.
• Lead and participate in incident investigations related to technical safety, health, and security, ensuring thorough analysis and the implementation of corrective and preventative actions
