Description
Makro is looking for a Chapter Lead - Software Engineering (Oracle Retail) to join our Technology Division in Bangkok. In this role you will bridge functional expertise and deep technical knowledge of Oracle Retail Applications to drive implementation, enhancement, and production support across our retail operations. Key Responsibilities: Act as the primary solution architect for Oracle Retail Applications across the full project lifecycle — from requirement analysis through to deployment and post-go-live support. Lead and deliver development, enhancement, and production support activities on Oracle Retail modules including RMS, RPM, ReIM, and ReSA. Design and review technical solutions covering Pro*C, PL/SQL, SQL, Java, Shell scripting, and ADF frameworks. Collaborate with business stakeholders to align system capabilities with merchandising, pricing, allocations, inventory, and financial accounting requirements. Ensure solution integrity across the Oracle Retail data model and integration landscape, maintaining quality and performance standards. Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing across the technology function. Technical Expertise: Oracle Retail Modules Retail Merchandising System (RMS) Retail Price Management (RPM) Retail Invoice Matching (ReIM) Retail Sales Audit (ReSA) Programming & Tools Pro*C, PL/SQL, SQL Java, ADF (Application Development Framework) Shell scripting Domain Knowledge Merchandising & Purchase Orders Allocations & Inventory Management Pricing & Sales Audit Financial Accounting (Stock Ledger) Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 5–10 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail Applications (RMS/RPM/ReIM/ReSA). Minimum 3 years of end-to-end project implementation experience. Strong understanding of Oracle Retail versions 13x to 16x; version 19x experience is a significant advantage. Oracle Retail implementation experience (preferred). Strong communication skills in both Thai and English, written and verbal.
Responsibilities
