THE POSITION Our Medical Expertise and Healthcare Network Department is recruiting its future Quality Officer (W/M) on a permanent contract, based in Lisbon (Portugal). Working closely with the Team Manager, you will join an international, collaborative team including a senior project manager, an assistant project manager, a training expert based in Neuilly-sur-Seine (France), and a project manager based in Tunis. As part of this professional opportunity, you will be responsible for: Observation and Documentation of Business Practices Analyzing the activities of medical and network teams across 8 international locations. Drafting and updating business procedures. Managing and maintaining the business process knowledge base. Detection and Management of Nonconformities Deploying a reliable methodology to identify deviations from standards and internal requirements. Prioritizing critical nonconformities requiring immediate continuous improvement plans. Updating the risk matrix with detected nonconformities. Management of Continuous Improvement Plans Defining corrective actions and coordinating their implementation with project managers and the training expert. Providing structured recommendations based on thorough impact analyses. Ensuring training needs identified through quality reviews are integrated into the training roadmap. Follow‑up of External Audits Preparing audit exercises and ensuring they run smoothly. Monitoring the implementation of audit recommendations. Contributing to the Department’s readiness for ISO 9001 compliance and potential certification. Cross‑functional Projects As part of your responsibilities, you may also contribute to transversal projects such as: IT initiatives Commercial projects (new client onboarding) Communication activities Marketing projects The role may require occasional international travel. REQUIRED PROFILE You hold a Bachelor’s degree (minimum); a Master’s degree is preferred. You have significant experience in a similar Quality Management role, ideally within service companies (insurance is a plus). You have strong knowledge of the ISO 9001 standard and are comfortable applying its requirements. You have an excellent command of Excel and PowerPoint (mandatory). You demonstrate strong analytical and logical thinking skills, and you are able to anticipate errors and perform reliable quality checks. You are comfortable using the full Microsoft Office Suite. You have strong writing and analytical abilities and are able to challenge existing processes constructively. You are organized, rigorous, detail‑oriented, curious, and able to manage priorities and urgent situations. You have excellent interpersonal skills, enjoy supporting teams, and maintain a positive, constructive attitude through change.
