Description

We are looking for a charge entry professional to assist us with a project. The selected candidate will be assisting our charge entry department in entering a backlog of charges for our hospitalists. The project is anticipated to last up to 90 days.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in medical coding, including proficiency in ICD coding, CPT coding, DRG, and familiarity with medical billing processes.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to interpret clinical documentation effectively.
  • Experience with EMR and EHR systems is required.
  • Prior experience in a medical office setting is preferred, showcasing familiarity with medical records management.
  • Experience with physician hospital billing preferred but not required.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills for problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
