As a Charge Entry PAR, you’ll play a key role in clean claims, accurate billing, and supporting our mission to deliver outstanding musculoskeletal care. What You’ll Do Enter charges quickly and accurately Clear billing and claim edits for clinic visits and surgeries Work with clinical teams and coders to resolve documentation issues Verify authorizations match CPT codes before submission Stay current on orthopedic services, payer rules, and managed-care policies Resolve patient and insurance issues with professionalism Identify workflow improvements that enhance reimbursement What You Bring High school diploma required Billing or coding certificate preferred 1+ year orthopedic charge entry experience preferred EMR experience, Athenahealth a plus Strong organization, multitasking, and communication skills Understanding of CPT-4, ICD-10, HCPCS, and insurance plans Why UMP?
