Job Title: Charge Nurse Reports to: Director of Nursing FLSA Status and Pay: LPN or RN $38 to $40 BOE Schedule: Part-time 7 am to 3 pm or Full-Time 3 pm to 11 pm including every other weekend Location: Onsite, 24 Tabor Crossing Longmeadow, MA 01106 Summary Glenmeadow is seeking a caring and compassionate RN or LPN. The Retirement Community Nurse plays a vital role in supporting the health, safety, and overall well-being of residents. This role is ideal for a dedicated and empathetic nursing professional committed to enhancing the quality of life for older adults in a vibrant senior living community. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Conduct comprehensive health assessments andmonitorresidents' health status regularly. * Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. * Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare providers. * Provide education and support to residents and their familiesregardinghealth management and wellness. * Respond to calls ina timelyandappropriate manner.  * Document all nursing care and resident interactions accurately in compliance with regulatory standards. Education and Experience * ActiveRN or LPN license in Massachusetts. * Previousexperience in a nursing role, preferably in a long-term care, geriatric, orretirement community setting. Knowledge Skills and Abilities * Strong clinical assessment skills toidentifyhealth concerns and monitor changes in residents’ conditions * Effective communication skills to educate residents and families and collaborate with healthcare team members * Excellent time management and organizational abilities to prioritize tasks and ensuretimelycare delivery * Compassion and empathy to provide emotional support and enhance residents’ overall well-being * Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
