POSITION SUMMARY

The Charge Nurse (Charge RN) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Infusion Centre located at the Winnipeg Clinic (4 Chairs), ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. This leadership role involves direct patient care, clinical oversight, staff coordination, billing oversight, and collaboration with physicians, pharmacists, vendors, and other healthcare professionals. The Charge RN acts as the primary resource for clinical decision-making, problem-solving, and daily operational flow within the infusion centre, while ensuring optimal utilization of the centre’s resources through patient acquisition, program development, and strategic partnerships.

PATIENT EXPERIENCE

· Promote a comfortable, professional, and patient-focused environment.
· Provide comprehensive patient education on pre-treatment preparation, infusion procedures, and post-treatment care.
· Address patient concerns promptly and professionally.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Current registration and good standing with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
· Current BLS certification.
· Minimum of 3 years nursing experience, including at least 1 year in infusion therapy or acute care.
· Previous leadership or charge nurse experience preferred.
· Proficiency in IV initiation, venipuncture, infusion pump operation, and PICC access.
· Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Knowledge of medical billing processes and experience with EMR systems preferred (Accuro).
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: $35.43-$42.51 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
