We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced RMN/RNLD to join us as a Charge Nurse.
The Directorate of Forensic Mental Health provides inpatient care in both medium and low secure settings. The service provides a safe, secure and therapeutic environment for patients with a focus on risk assessment and reduction, rehabilitation and discharge planning for the return to the community.
The post holder will have clinical leadership and line management responsibility for a staff team and be accountable for the co-ordination and provision of specialist nursing care and treatment for individuals who have a mental disorder or learning disability who have demonstrated serious offending behaviour or present significant risk to themselves or others. The post holder will be expected to contribute to the organisations objectives, promote team working and ensure safe and effective clinical practice within their area or responsibility.
2x permanent pots, both 37 hours per week, shifts - Rotational Long day shift pattern 07:30-20:15 on days and 20:15-07:30 on nights
