Description
These Charge Posting Analyst - Community Medicine focuses on managing the financial aspects of patient care, including billing, insurance claims, payment processing, financial counseling, utilization and revenue cycle analysis. This role performs charge posting and record maintenance on patient accounts for services rendered by the Community Medicine, UVA providers. Performs routine and complex analytical tasks. Works system reports. Coordinates storage of charge source documents. In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent Experience: 3 years relevant experience Licensure: None PHYSICAL DEMANDS This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs. Onsite Parking Available at the Northridge Building. This position will not consider candidates who require immigration sponsorship at this time or in the future. The starting base rate for this role is $18.37 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
