Job Details Level: Experienced Job Location: El Paso Childrens Hospital - El Paso, TX 79905 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: 2 Year Degree Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: Day Job Category: Health Care Supervise and coordinate unit operations/activities on a specific shift to ensure quality patient care and optimal operational efficiency that ensures continuity of care. Maintain authority for resource allocation. Assist Nurse Manager and/or supervisor in the management of patient. Supervise the work of RNs, and non-licensed members of the nursing staff. Qualifications Work Experience One year of hospital based acute care experience. License/Registration/Certification BLS and PALS Current RN License to practice in the State of Texas Obtains ARIN certification in practice specialty within 3 years. Please Note: RN PRN candidates, whether internal or external candidates, must have certifications noted in the table below by department at the start of assignment/employment. Possesses effective interpersonal relationship skills. Ability to utilize computers for documentation purposes. Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions.
Responsibilities
