Job Title: Chargehand – Aluminum & Façade

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Chargehand (Aluminum & Façade) to oversee, coordinate, and execute aluminum and façade installation works at project sites. The role requires hands-on experience in aluminum fabrication, curtain wall, cladding, doors, windows, glazing, and façade systems, ensuring work is carried out as per drawings, quality standards, and project timelines.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in aluminum and façade works in the UAE/GCC.
  • Strong knowledge of aluminum systems, façade cladding, curtain wall, glazing, doors & windows installation.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and project specifications.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
  • Good communication skills in English (Arabic/Hindi/Urdu is an advantage).
  • Awareness of HSE practices and site safety compliance.
  • Flexibility to work in different project locations within the UAE.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma/ITI Certificate in Civil, Mechanical, or related field preferred.
  • Trade background in aluminum/steel works will be considered.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per mont
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of fabricators, installers, and helpers in aluminum & façade installation activities.
  • Ensure that site works are executed according to approved shop drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
  • Coordinate with site engineers and foremen to allocate manpower, materials, and tools effectively.
  • Monitor daily progress, identify potential delays, and take corrective action to meet deadlines.
  • Inspect completed works for quality assurance, finishing, alignment, and compliance with standards.
  • Maintain site safety standards and ensure workers follow HSE guidelines.
  • Assist in measuring, marking, and fixing aluminum profiles, glass panels, curtain walls, cladding, doors, and windows.
  • Prepare daily site activity reports and update progress to the Site Engineer/Project Manager.
  • Support in troubleshooting and resolving technical/site challenges during execution.
  • Train and guide workers to improve workmanship and productivity.
